Loose stones whirling around the Deerfield River for thousands of years helped to erode these little pools, almost 50 in number. Today, they are a small but intrinsic part of the quaint village of Shelburne Falls where you can shop for antiques, pottery, or fresh maple products as well as see a variety of arts and crafts galleries.
