Description:

Warren Tavern, built in 1780 in Charlestown, Massachusetts, is one of the first structures rebuilt after the Battle of Bunker Hill and quickly became a gathering place for Revolutionary War figures including Paul Revere and George Washington. Named in honor of patriot Dr. Joseph Warren, the tavern has endured centuries of change while preserving its historic charm. Today it is known for classic New England comfort food, with favorites such as clam chowder, fish and chips, hearty burgers, and lobster dishes including a popular lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese.
