Abandoned Lower Harbor Ore Dock

Saves: 17

This wooden dock looks like a hallowed chapel but was used to unload cargo ships. The docks were outfitted with attached chutes running the length of it. Ships would stop alongside the dock and the chutes would be lowered. The ore cargo would then be lowered onto the chutes. The Lower Harbor dock, like many other similar ones, is abandoned - but there are a few in Michigan that remain in use.
