Description:
Within the borders of the magnificent Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the Au Sable Light still actively guides vessels to safe harbor. The picnic area at Hurricane River is the start of the trail leading to the lighthouse. An easy 1.5-mile roundtrip walk will take you along the historic U.S. Coast Guard road and to the lighthouse.
