Bavarian Inn Holz Brücke Covered Bridge

It is Michigan's largest wooden covered bridge, a 239-foot vehicular and pedestrian passage built in 1979. Although it's not as old as many of its fellow covered bridges, it is no less beautiful or quaint. "Holz Brücke" translates to "wooden bridge" in German and thus is the perfect entry way to a Bavarian-style village with the River Place Shops and Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn. Other attractions include the Bavarian Belle Riverboat and Ultimate Mirror Maze and, of course, plenty of restaurants and bakeries offering traditional southern German cuisine.
