Description:
Bode’s Corned Beef House opened in 1959 inside an 1868 building originally constructed by German immigrant E. Gottlieb Bode, a structure that had served many roles over the years including a home, boarding house, and meeting space. The restaurant became a longtime Plymouth favorite known for its hearty comfort food and welcoming, old-school atmosphere. Diners especially loved the thick corned beef sandwiches, corned beef hash, and traditional dinners served with rye bread or cabbage, along with popular sides like onion rings and classic breakfast plates.
