Located on 158 acres of land, this botanical garden and sculpture park has been compared to the Kroller-Muller in the Netherlands. The supermarket tycoon Frederik Meijer donated money, land, and his entire sculpture collection to the effort. The botanical gardens include houses that contain exotic trees and flowers from around the world. As Michigan's second largest tourist attraction, this attraction has welcomed over 6 million visitors since it was created in 1995.
