Description:
The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society was founded in 1978 and focused on preserving the history behind famous shipwrecks in the Great Lakes especially Lake Superior. To bring this information to the museum, the historical society regularly dives into the lakes to glean information on the shipwrecks still at the lake bottom. For an extra five bucks, you can climb the Whitefish Point Lighthouse providing an excellent view of Michigan and her lakes.
