This 40-story building was first opened in 1929. Its distinguishing feature is the intricate latticework fashioned from a nickel-alloy called Monel. The interior lobby's barrel vault ceiling is adorned with colorful tile in an intricate pattern designed and implemented by artist Anthony Eugenio. Originally built for the Union Trust Company, the Art Deco structure was also used by the military during World War II. Today it is an office building housing corporate giants as well as some smaller firms. There are also retail stores and restaurants for visitors. (Submitted by Rajie Brown)
