Description:

Joe Muer Seafood began in 1929 as a small Detroit oyster bar opened by Joe Muer I and quickly grew into one of the city’s most celebrated dining institutions. After closing in 1998, the restaurant was revived in 2011 in the Renaissance Center, bringing back its classic seafood focused menu and storied reputation. Today it is known for fresh shucked oysters, lobster bisque, oysters Rockefeller, branzino, flounder, Maine lobster, and a selection of steaks and chops that complement its seafood traditions.
