This burly Paul Bunyan is deep-chested, with big, logger hands. He doesn't seem to be the tallest Paul Bunyan statue around but he's nicely formed and lives in pretty decent surroundings. This is Oscoda's tribute to the Paul Bunyan legend - they claim to be the first to publish a story on the woodsman in 1906.

Right in the middle of downtown oscoda this statue is a must see. Paul Bunyan Festival happens every year in September which is what is going on in the background
