Description:

This pretty lighthouse, complete with keeper's quarters, is situated on the northeastern end of Lake Michigan. It was decommissioned in 1933, but offers visitors a peek at what life was like at the end of the 19th century for lighthouse keepers. When the lighthouse is open, you can join in on a guided tour. If it's closed, there will be no parking available from the road, but you can still see the lighthouse by boat from the lake.
