Description:

This pretty lighthouse was constructed out of Cream City brick and is built in the style of a Renaissance castle. The attached building was adorned with castle-like turrets. Built in 1892, the lighthouse was deactivated in 1957 because the Mackinac Bridge eliminated the need for it.
