Description:

Point Betsie Lighthouse, located near Frankfort, Michigan, is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the state. Built in 1858, it stands on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, guiding mariners through the often treacherous waters of the Manitou Passage. The lighthouse features a classic white tower and attached keeper's house, which has been beautifully preserved. Today, visitors can tour the lighthouse, explore the surrounding beach, and take in stunning views of Lake Michigan and the nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes.
