Description:

When logging was a huge industry the Mississippi served as a route for transportation. The lighthouse and station served to aid the logging industry. Probably built in the late 1800s, the structure stands in as a nice counterpoint to the modern Minneapolis skyline behind it. The park is open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM.
