Hoċokata Ṫi’s (pronounced "ho-cho-ka-ta tee") is a 3,805-square-foot public exhibit that offers visitors a cultural experience, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the Mdewakanton (pronounced "med-ah-wah-kah-ton") Dakota people and their history. The Hoċokata Ṫi Gift Shop features a variety of Native-made art, books, jewelry, beaded and quilled items, craft supplies, health and beauty products, and home goods, aligning with the cultural center's mission to educate visitors about the Dakota people.
