Lake Superior Beach

The Great Lakes are proof that you don't have to live near the coast to enjoy the beach. With a body of water that are so large and stretch out as far as the eye can see Lake Superior's hidden beach in Tettegouche State Park is just as good as any ocean to lay a towel on the ground and sunbathe. Of course, you might want to go in the warmer months as Lake Superior does not have the superior advantage of the temperate weather enjoyed by long stretches of the East and West Coasts of the U.S. (Submitted by Sunny Vang)
