Description:
Lindey’s Prime Steak House in Arden Hills opened in 1961 after founder Lewis Walter Lindemer spent years perfecting and promoting his signature steaks, beginning with a small basement operation in St. Paul. The rustic northwoods style building has remained largely unchanged and the restaurant is still run by the Lindemer family. Lindey’s is known for its focused menu built around the Special Sirloin and Prime Sirloin, which are served with hash browned potatoes, garlic toast, a simple house salad, and sweet pickled watermelon rind. Many guests also enjoy the steak sandwich and chopped sirloin, but the hearty sirloin dinners continue to be the restaurant’s most popular dishes.
