Built into the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill, this surreal modern city overlooks the Mississippi River. Part museum, market, business center, gallery, and events venue, Mill City is a striking combination of steampunk and modern-day minimalism. If you plan to visit, make sure you block out the whole day - there's so much to see and do here. For such an activity-packed day the $12 per person asking fee is quite reasonable.
