A landmark that details the history of milling in Minnesota overlooks the west side of Saint Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River. Minneapolis tastefully rises around the ruins, which are seamlessly incorporated within the scenery of the city. As a national park, the 19th century ruins were opened in 2001. With the Stone Arch bridge creating a nice walkway and bike trail, visitors can easily view the remnants of the mills. The ruins are open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
