Minnemishinona Falls is a hidden gem just outside Mankato, where a narrow waterfall plunges 42 feet into a wooded gorge before winding toward the Minnesota River. Once located on private property, the scenic overlook was opened to the public in 2007 and now offers visitors a peaceful spot to enjoy southern Minnesota’s natural beauty. Located along Judson Bottom Road, the falls are especially impressive after rainfall, though the water flow can vary seasonally.
