The oddly shaped building features octagonal towers and French doors. If you can't quite place the architectural style it's because the resort is a mix-up of many different disciplines. Construction started in 1928 and the odd design is a throwback to the Jazz Age when many of the lavish estates were designed with a fusion of different styles. You have your choice of rooms although you'll pay a premium for lakeside. Or you can go simply for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - and skip the room.
