Description:
In 1922, a daring local teenager named Ralph Samuelson crafted a homemade pair of skis and made history on Lake Pepin. After three days of unsuccessful attempts, Ralph discovered that keeping the ski tips above the water was the key. With that breakthrough, he transformed from sitting in the water to gliding on top of it, forever changing the sport of water skiing.
