Description:

There are several legends regarding this giant concrete box that juts out of Lake Superior. A.K.A. Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum, no one is really sure if his remains actually rest here. However, the name is a bit of a pun since his harbor was an unfinished project - a good idea if the waters of the lake weren't so violent. Today, the flat surface is enjoyed by sunbathing humans and resting wildlife. A popular summertime activity is to jump of the edge of the abandoned harbor. It's located in the waters right off of Lakewalk. You can find plenty of paid parking lots near its location.
