Description:
"Mallrats" (a Kevin Smith movie) was filmed inside the Eden Prairie Center Mall in 1995. It was only after various other malls objected to the content of the movie and refused to allow production to shoot at these other malls that Smith decided to film the movie at the Eden Prairie Center Mall. Incidentally, in the movie the mall is referred to by its actual name, but it's supposed to be located in New Jersey!
