This tiny little hut was originally a gas station in 1931 but now serves as a centerpiece for local events. The community, largely of Norwegian descent, holds heritage-based festivals at this location. The quaint hut is the perfect backdrop for folks dancing in their traditional Norwegian garb. When summer brings longer days the hut becomes a little snack stand every Wednesday serving up root beer floats while local musicians perform. (Photo by Beth Kellner)
