Watt Munisotaram

The Watt Munisotaram, situated in Hampton, Minnesota, is a prominent Cambodian Buddhist temple located approximately 30 minutes south of the Twin Cities. The Minnesota Cambodian Buddhist Society, along with its community, was founded in 1982. However, it wasn't until 2007 that they inaugurated a significantly larger temple on their expansive 40-acre land. The consecration ceremony drew thousands of attendees, signifying the temple's significance to both Cambodian and non-Cambodian Theravada Buddhists across Minnesota, the Midwest, and the entire United States.
