World's Largest "Booming" Prairie Chicken

When a male "booming" prairie chicken is ready to mate he puffs out bright orange air sacs on either side of his neck. This statue depicts the rooster in the act of grabbing the hen's attention. He stands 13 feet tall on what looks to be a booming prairie in Rothsay - the "Prairie Chicken Capital of Minnesota."
