Also known as the Annandale Plantation, this Greek Revival mansion was most notably the home of Helen Harris. This cotton heiress was called the "Annandale Bride" because of the tragic loss of her fiancé two weeks before they were to be married. She fortunately found love again and was also instrumental in aiding the Confederacy by supplying their uniforms. The mansion is a glimpse into the splendid lives of southern debutantes before the Civil War ruined their fortunes.
