This museum is housed in a building that symbolizes the Confederate resistance against the North. The prized artifacts include a pre-war Confederate flag, the tie worn by Jefferson Davis at his inauguration as President of the Confederacy, antebellum portraits, china, silver, and furniture, and other miscellaneous items from the late 1800s and early 1900s. For five bucks per person, this museum is one of the best values in the south.
