An unlikely intersection in a small Mississippi town is where Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the devil in exchange for immortality as a blues legend. A trio of electric guitars marks the spot paying homage to this guitarist whose active years were between 1929 and 1938. He died in 1938 at the tender age of 27 with no clear cause of death. Whether the devil came to make good on his contract - we'll never know.
