Jesse James Bank Museum

Saves: 23
Check-ins: 8
It seems as if this bank and its immediate surroundings have been frozen in the year 1866 when outlaws pulled of the first successful daylight peacetime bank robbery. One civilian died as a result. The crime was attributed to the James Gang although there is little in the way of evidence (by today's legal standards). Period furnishings and the story of the robbery as told by the bank help visitors immerse themselves in the details of that fateful day. Hours are from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Saturday with a general admission fee of around $7. The museum is closed in January and February.
