A railroad once ran through here, but today it is a landmark on the 240-mile Katy Trail. The Romanesque arch made from brick and rough-hewn stone is a short pass for wayfarers and cyclists making their way through the state park. You don't have to travel 240 miles by foot to get there, though. Fortunately, there is plenty of parking at the Katy Trailhead lot located approximately 1/2 mile away from the tunnel.
