Description:

This place of worship looks like a temple where Christians of the future might go. Designed by Gyo Obata, the temple is supposed to be evocative of a nautilus shell with its graceful, spiraling steeple. The temple is open to the public but you might want to time your visit for 1:00 PM CT when the Daily Prayer for Peace begins. As the temple draws around 65,000 people to its sphere annually, expect to see crowds of people here.
