This small but nicely designed museum is for people who want to avoid tourist traps. A collection of interesting artifacts is amassed here all starting with the discovery of the remains of a Cavalry trooper in 1926. He has since been interred in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the only unidentified soldier not buried in a national cemetery. Other artifacts include Sitting Bull's death mask, a lock of Custer's hair, and the headdress of Stinking Bear.
