The Hornet Lookout is a fire lookout tower located on Hornet Creek Road in Polebridge, MT. The lookout is situated at an elevation of approximately 7,660 feet on Hornet Peak in the Flathead National Forest. The trail to Hornet Lookout is approximately 4.5 miles round trip with an elevation gain of over 2,000 feet. The trail is considered difficult, but the views from the top are well worth the effort.
