Description:
Lake Sherburne is a reservoir located in Glacier National Park near Browning, MT. The lake was created in 1921 by the construction of a concrete dam on the St. Mary River. The lake is approximately 4 miles long and 1 mile wide with a maximum depth of 67 feet. It has a surface area of 1,327 acres and is situated at an elevation of 4,200 feet above sea level.
