Medicine Rocks State Park

These hoodoos were considered sacred by the Plains Indians who wrote inscriptions on the sandstone. Some of the hundred-plus hoodoos are as tall as 80 feet and 200 feet wide. They are quite unique; you would not be able to find a large number of such a height and girth as the Medicine Rocks. The park is open year-round from 7 AM to 10 PM. The camping grounds are also available all year on a first come first serve basis. Medicine Rocks State Park combines activity, geology, history, and nature all in one outing.
