The Richardsonian Romanesque building was constructed in 1901 as the Parmly Billings Memorial Library. Now affiliated with the Smithsonian, the center is a museum with artifacts, art, textiles, photographs, and memorabilia relating to Western heritage - especially in regards to the Old West.
