Scotts Bluff National Monument

It encompasses over 3,000 acres of historical trail land and welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually. Some come for the history, some want to experience the several trails that the park has to offer. It's one of the most popular parks in Nebraska to visit during peak season with spectacular views 800 feet above the North Platte River. The park has different seasonal hours and holiday closures, but is mostly open 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the winter and 9 to 4 during the summer. See the nps.gov website for current information.
