Beehives

These sandstone, dome-like formations are completely natural. The layers of deposited silt are highly visible, evidence of the millions of years it took for the environment to shape the beehives. They are located right off of Valley of Fire Hwy. A small parking area allows you to stop for a short period of time to take photos.
