Description:
The Pittsburg Silver Creek Mining Company didn't want to pay the price for setting up a mill on premium property in Silverpeak. So, in 1906 they opted for a site 3 miles north called Blair. The city enjoyed a boom for several years before petering out, completely dying out in 1916. During its peak it was prosperous enough to have several buildings including a stamp mill. Today, a few gutted structures and some odds and ends dot the barren landscape.
