Description:

What looks like a charming and unimposing Spanish-style home is a decoy for a 15,000-square-foot underground bunker. Although the bunker is 26 feet underground, it won't protect its inhabitants from pollution or a nuclear attack. Still, its market value is just under $20 million. In 1979, Avon bigwig Jerry Henderson built his massive subterranean abode, being an enthusiast of life below the surface. The home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, and artificial greenery and painted outdoor scenery. You'll have to be content to see only the main house above-ground unless you are in the market for a multi-million dollar buried home.
