Description:

Mouse’s Tank is a natural rock basin tucked into a red sandstone canyon in Valley of Fire State Park, where rainfall gathers into two potholes that once sustained a fugitive known as “Little Mouse.” The short, easy Petroglyph Canyon (Mouse’s Tank) Trail winds past hundreds of ancient rock carvings, some over 4,000 years old, etched into the canyon walls. This scenic spot combines natural beauty and fascinating history, making it one of the park’s most popular hikes.
