The El Cortez Hotel

Built in 1941 this three-star hotel is one of the low-priced options in Vegas when one wants to spend limited funds on gambling rather than one of the luxury hotels on the Strip. It is also the oldest continuously running gaming property in Vegas. There's plenty of gambling to be done here even if it is lackluster compared to the more famous newcomers such as the Cosmopolitan and Waldorf Astoria.
