Description:
Frank Van Zant is the genius behind the sculptures on display at Thunder Mountain Park. Now a Nevada State Historic Site, Van Zant started his 5-acre creation in 1969. Much of his artwork takes inspiration from Native American folklore, as he was a Creek Indian. Unfortunately, Van Zant committed suicide in 1989, but you can see his legacy via a self-guided tour on the property
