Description:
If you thought that mortar could only hold together bricks, you were wrong. This ghost town is famous for its bottle-and-mortar buildings, the best example being Tom Kelly's. Built in 1906, Tom Kelly raffled off the house instead of living in it. The house was inhabited by various families over the decades and would have been luxurious compared to the alternatives. Now the small house stands as an odd bookmark in a short chapter of American history.
