Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest state park in Nevada and was designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1968. It's also a very popular filming location including countless automobile commercials and this short list of movies: "Viva Las Vegas," "The Professionals," "Total Recall," and "Star Trek."

Kind of eerie and cool at the same time.
So much better than Red Rock Canyon. More wildlife, petroglyphs, and red rocks. Well worth the drive.
