Steve Darnell, renowned for his achievements on the Discovery Channel's popular show, "Vegas Rat Rods," is the creative force behind Welder Up, a rat rod and fabrication shop based in Las Vegas. With a background in welding and fabrication learned from working with his father at their family's steel company, Steve turned his passion for cars into a successful venture. His fabrication shop gained attention when the D-Rod, equipped with a twin-turbo 12-valve diesel engine producing 1000 hp, rolled out. The unique builds from Steve and his team caught the eye of the car world and led to the creation of the hit series Vegas Rat Rods in 2013. Steve's artistic creations have been featured in various national publications, solidifying his reputation as a creative genius with no boundaries.
