Description:
Cascades of thick, rich, melted chocolate of white, milk, and dark varieties flow down multi-tiered platforms in sweet, sticky streams. Descending 27 feet, this sculpture is a sugary-scented infusion of art, engineering, and gourmet - a pet project of Bellagio's chief pastry chef, Jean-Philippe Maury. 2,100 pounds of chocolate loop around 500 feet of pipes all day and night. Because the smooth trickles of liquid are so hard to resist, they are encased in glass. Even though you can't dip your fingers, the Jean-Philippe Patisserie has plenty of macarons, cakes, and hot chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth.
